Our History

Natures Current was founded by Shawn Jefremow and Brian Wittig in 2008 with the goal of helping millions of Americans choose cheaper, cleaner energy plans and advance the nation's transition to clean energy.  We help consumers take charge of their energy usage.  Since our inception, Natures Current has been saving consumers money and decarbonizing the grid by delivering access to affordable and renewable energy.
